Pediatric Tumor Biology & Ultrastructural Pathology

General Information
The Section of Ultrastructural Pathology, located in Building 10 (rooms 2A-09 and 2A-10), carries out routine clinical diagnoses of patient's biopsies by electron microscopy, and welcomes any cases that will benefit from this procedure. Tissue or cell suspensions fixed in glutaraldehyde can be submitted for diagnosis. In addition, formalin-fixed specimens and tissues and from paraffin blocks are accepted.
