The Neuro-Oncology Branch, a trans-institute program of the
National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the National Institute
of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) of the National
Institutes of Health, is currently recruiting for TENURE/TENURE
TRACK CLINICAL INVESTIGATORS. The applicant should
have an interest in primary brain tumors and/or complications
of systemic tumors on the central nervous system. The position
responsibilities include the design and implementation of
single institution and multi-institution phase I and II clinical
and phramacokinetic trials for adult and/or pediatric brain
tumor patients. Prior training in either medical or pediatric
oncology, neurology, or radiation oncology is preferable.
It is expected that the successful candidate(s) will establish
an independent clinical and/or translational research program
that complements the goals and mission of the NOB which is
developing an integrated clinical, translational and basic
research program that engages the strengths and resources
of the NCI and NINDS.
